  • Groundnuts are also known as Peanut or Earthnut. The oil content in the peanuts is between 35% and 45% depending on the variety. Groundnut oil extraction involves several processes including groundnut decortication, cleaning, seed conditioning, crushing and filtration.
  • Can groundnut kernels be used as a raw material?
  • Groundnut Kernels obtained after the Decortication process can be used as a raw material for Groundnut Oil Extraction Plant. Groundnut Kernels contain 40 – 45 % oil content. After a double stage pressing, about 5 – 7 % residual oil is left in the Groundnut meal which is an excellent source of Animal Feed.
